Re-branding |
Stave Worldwide, LLC, importer and distributor of Hungarian oak
wine barrels, has announced the re-branding of its barrel
offerings. John Waldrup, Director of North American Sales for
Stave Worldwide, said, "In our inaugural season [2005] we
marketed barrels under the Stave Worldwide brand. After
discussions with local winemakers, we decided to fully embrace
our Hungarian roots and name the barrels after our cooper,
Balázs Nagy. Thus, Balázs Cooperage was born." Waldrup went on to
add, "We want the Balázs Cooperage brand to become synonymous with
premium Hungarian cooperage. Re-branding will help us do that.
And, as our product offerings expand beyond Hungarian oak, it
will help these barrels maintain a distinct identity in the
minds of our customers." |
